·                     NNJDC Policy 115.382, PREA Access to Emergency Medical and Mental Health Services  ·                     Facility Site Review Observations  Interviews Conducted: ·                     PREA Coordinator  ·                     Medical and Mental Health Staff  ·                     Specialized Staff (First Responders)    Medical and mental health staff reported that NNJDC has procedures in place to ensure that any resident victim of sexual abuse would receive immediate, unimpeded access to emergency medical treatment and crisis intervention services. The scope and nature of services would be determined by licensed medical and mental health practitioners in accordance with professional judgment, consistent with NNJDC Policy 115.382.   In the event of sexual assault, residents would be transported to Riverside Medical Center for emergency care, including access to SANE/SAFE examinations. Staff confirmed that all treatment and related documentation would be recorded using CSB incident reporting tools and facility incident reporting systems (HYPE). All staff are trained as first responders under §115.364 and demonstrated understanding of their responsibilities to initiate protective measures, preserve evidence, and notify appropriate medical and mental health personnel.   The nurse confirmed that, consistent with Policy 115.382(C), resident victims of sexual abuse would be offered timely information about and access to emergency contraception and sexually transmitted infection prophylaxis, as clinically appropriate. Coordination with Riverside Medical Center would ensure continuity of care and follow-up services.   Policy 115.382(D) requires that all medical and mental health treatment services be provided at no cost to the victim and regardless of whether the victim participates in an investigation or names the alleged abuser. Staff confirmed this practice during interviews.   Compliance Determination: Based on the evidence reviewed, the auditor determined that the facility meets the requirements of this standard and no corrective action is required.
