NNJDC has developed a written institutional coordinated response plan, as outlined
in policy 115.365, to address actions taken in response to an incident of sexual
abuse. The plan establishes coordinated procedures among first responders,
medical and mental health practitioners, investigators, and facility leadership to
ensure a comprehensive response to allegations of sexual abuse or sexual
harassment.
The coordinated response plan includes procedures for immediate notification of
supervisory staff, execution of first responder duties consistent with §115.364,
securing the safety of the alleged victim, preservation and documentation of
evidence, referral to investigative authorities, and provision of medical and mental
