The auditor reviewed the Pre-Audit Questionnaire (PAQ), training curricula, staff
training materials, and personnel training records, and conducted interviews with
facility leadership and staff to assess compliance with Standard 115.331. Newport
News Juvenile Detention Center (NNJDC) has established a comprehensive PREA
training program for all employees, volunteers, and contractors who may have
contact with residents.
