regulatory waivers and remaining compliant.
Integration Approach
Integration with CAD, RTCC, LPR, Flock 911 and gunshot detection software systems.
Optional Enhancements
Flock Safety offers two levels of flight - 400 and 200 feet. Depending on your agency’s
needs, you may wish to consider the advantages of the higher level.
Expanded Field of View: A drone at 400 feet can see four times as much area as one at
200 feet, leading to faster and more effective searches for suspects or missing persons.
Reduced Noise Complaints: Studies have shown that flying at 400 feet significantly
reduces the number of noise complaints from residents.
Enhanced Tactical Advantage: Higher altitudes make drones less conspicuous and
quieter, which can be crucial in sensitive situations where you don't want to alert a
suspect to your presence.
Improved Response Times: By covering larger areas without needing to reposition,
drones at 400 feet can shave precious seconds off response times during critical
incidents.
DFR 2.0: Flock Safety refers to this approach as "DFR 2.0," highlighting the
advancements in drone technology and operations that allow for higher altitude flights
with greater effectiveness.
There is the ability to obtain an FAA BVLOS waiver to fly at 400’ with the addition of our
radar system. Price is based on contract term and a detailed examination of the zones
needing coverage.

agency might choose a 200 foot flight option instead, please see this article.Jump to an indexed page (163 of 163)
