I lead this proposal for Gaskin and Associates Consulting Group, LLC. My consulting background
includes work with Deloitte US. I also founded Audit Newport News, an independent civic review
initiative focused on transparency, public records, public spending and accountability.
My work examines policy, financial and operating records and connects those records to the decisions
public institutions must make. For this proposed engagement, I would coordinate the work plan,
maintain the evidence record, develop the comparison requirements and present the findings and
unresolved conditions to NNPS leadership.
About the firm
Gaskin and Associates Consulting Group, LLC submits this proposal to support an evidence-based
comparison of school capacity, instructional services, transportation and implementation costs. Our
proposed role is advisory. NNPS would retain authority over policy, pupil assignments, personnel,
procurement and expenditure.
