Gaskin and Associates Consulting Group, LLC Discovery STEM proposal October 8 2026 8 Current site and operating windows Discovery STEM Academy is located at 1712 Chestnut Avenue. Its public school page identifies a K-5 school day of 9:20 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. and PEEP Schedule C. The current NNPS schedule adds a midday preschool exchange and separate half-day and early-dismissal arrangements. Published times guide the study; they are not measured vehicle movements. [G01-G02] Published school operation Traffic review requirement K-5 normal day 9:20 a.m.-3:55 p.m. Observe the buildup, loading period and clearance before and after each bell. PEEP morning 9:20 a.m.-12:35 p.m. Confirm actual student handoff, loading and accessible transport needs. PEEP afternoon 12:40-3:55 p.m. Review the five-minute gap between published sessions against actual movements. K-5 half day 12:30 p.m.; early dismissal 2:25 p.m. Use the revised staffing roster, family notice and bus/vehicle arrangements. PEEP half day 10:55 a.m.; no afternoon classes Confirm the applicable calendar and actual transport plan. PEEP early day AM ends 11:50 a.m.; PM 11:55 a.m.-2:25 p.m. Assess the revised midday exchange and dismissal coverage. Confirm actual operations before observation Administration should provide the current admission window, parent-line opening and closing times, bus schedules, walking arrangements, childcare-provider movements and late-arrival process. Verify authorized unloading locations and the side of the vehicle used for transfer. Do not infer actual arrival rules from office hours or the 2023 dispatch requests. Public and restricted maps The public family map should identify approved approaches, unloading and walking routes, crossings and prohibited stops. The restricted operational version should add assigned duties, individual accommodations and emergency coordination. The historical aerial in Appendix D supplies context only; a current surveyed or field-verified plan must govern any change.
