Gaskin and Associates Consulting Group, LLC Discovery STEM proposal October 8 2026 15 Work plan and acceptance The indicative 90-day sequence starts after scope, sponsor, access and resources are agreed. Tasks can overlap, but a missed input or approval must be recorded and the schedule revised. Immediate protective action follows the responsible authority's hazard response, independently of the study milestones. Period Lead function Milestone and acceptance basis Days 0-7 NNPS sponsor and Discovery Confirm current plan and operating windows; name owners; log hazards, interim protections and required records. Days 8-30 Engineering with school and transport staff Complete walk-through and representative baseline; deliver mapped movements, coverage, measures and an evidence- gap log. Days 31-60 NNPS decision maker and engineering Compare feasible options; explicitly resolve Oak Avenue; provide specialist review, priced scope and approval conditions. Days 61-90 Authorized implementation owners Complete ready and approved measures or issue a dated capital/work schedule; verify readiness, evaluate an authorized trial if appropriate and record follow-up. Milestone review At each stage, the sponsor should record acceptance, required corrections or a justified extension. The decision package can recommend retention, modification, a different route or additional evidence. Acceptance should concern the completeness and quality of the analysis rather than agreement with a preferred conclusion. Dependencies and delay treatment Record availability of the engineering original, survey/geometry information, staff time, procurement, calendar and weather, accessibility and fire/EMS review, and city approvals. A 90-day date does not authorize incomplete construction or a premature trial. If a larger design is needed, provide a separate schedule and keep justified interim protection in place. Required final package Deliver the approved current map and operating plan, option and cost comparisons, signed decisions or recorded unresolved conditions, staff/family implementation materials, and an action register with completion evidence and follow-up dates. Sensitive operational annexes should have separate access controls.
