3.3.2.3 Direct Mailing
To ensure communication with realtors, lenders, insurance agents, homeowners,
and homebuyers in the City, the City has also mailed letters and postcards to target
audiences on an annual basis:
• June 2024 and June 2025- Letters to Special Flood Hazard Area residents and
owners of repetitive loss properties.
• June 2024 - Letter to lenders, realtors, and insurance agents active in Newport
News.
• June 2025 – Letter to lenders, realtors, and insurance agents listing resources
to share with their clients. This letter included a postcard and a link to where
the postcard file can be downloaded and branded with the agency’s logo
before it is shared with clients. Images of the postcard can be seen below.
