Program for Public Information Annual Progress Report
3. 2024/2025 PPI ACCOMPLISHMENTS
3.1. APPROACH
As proposed in the PPI Plan, the City has pursued outreach projects across four
project outreach types:
• Informational – Passive displays and resources (booklets, brochures, flyers,
websites, handbooks, etc.)
• Targeted – Designed to reach specific priority audiences (mailers, signs,
meetings/presentations, doorhangers, etc.)
• General – All other creditable projects that are not informational or targeted
projects (road signs, contractor fairs, etc.)
• Flood Response Preparations – Projects that cover key messages that need
to be disseminated before, during, and after a flood event.
Since the adoption of the PPI Plan in October 2024, the Committee and City staff
have executed several of the planned outreach projects included in the PPI Plan as
well as undertaken additional public outreach projects beyond the original list.
Opportunities for outreach were reviewed at each Quarterly PPI meeting along with
any needed adjustments to target audiences and messaging.
Table 2 provides an overview summary of the planned outreach projects developed
by the Committee and progress made on each. More detailed descriptions of
accomplishments can be found in Section 3.3. Outreach Projects.
