Important health behaviors and topics: There are a variety of factors that influence one’s health, whether they are
health behaviors, health services, or other related social determinants of health. We asked our professionals and
community members to rank the top three items they felt were most important to adults (18+) in their communities. The full
list of health topics are shown in Exhibit 84. Professionals and community members both viewed health screenings and
annual checkups to be of greatest importance to one’s health. However, professionals viewed awareness and
understanding of health issues and new treatments as more important, while community members listed immunizations as
an important health behavior. These results are the same from the overall report.
