Community Outreach and Programs
We invest in hope and healing. We believe
that someone’s past does not have to
define their future. Our Community Out-
reach and Programs Bureau offers classes,
training and help to people who want to
better themselves while they are incarcerated. These are voluntary programs, alt-
hough some can be mandated by a judge as part of an inmate’s sentence. Pro-
grams for self-improvement and preparation for returning to the community, i.e.,
Re-Entry, were the most popular.
