32 Jail Operations-Maintenance Our Jail Maintenance division is comprised of deputies and select inmates with skills to get jobs done. That way, we don’t have to hire people to do the work. Cpl. Jackson supervises a trustee. The inmates, referred to as trustees, are supervised by the deputies. In 2024, their efforts saved taxpayers more than $1 million. Deputies learn how to make keys.
