ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Mobile Service Updates
Over the past two months, the Administrative Services Department has worked closely with
our telephone vendor, T-Mobile, to review and optimize our mobile service plan. During this
review, we identified 15 cellular lines that had no usage but were still being billed monthly.
These lines were disconnected, resulting in savings of more than $420 per month.
Additionally, many of our existing iPhone SE cellular devices had become outdated, with
several of them no longer functioning properly or unable to support basic tasks such as
receiving emails. On November 20", we received 40 iPhone 16e cellular devices at no
cost. These new phones will replace the current SE models, which will be returned to T-
Mobile. This effort has been both a cost-saving initiative and an important step in improving
staff accessibility and operational continuity.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) for Legal Services closed on November 10 and Directors
are now completing their scoring packets. The RFP for agency-wide roofing repairs and
replacement services closed on November 21. Additionally, the RFP for Phase II of the
Marshall Courts Fagade Project is scheduled to close on December 12.
Yardi Platform
The Housing Authority currently utilizes Yardi, a comprehensive real estate and property
management platform that supports several key operational functions across the
organization. The Authority is currently in the pre-implementation phase for Yardi
Marketplace. This enhancement will provide access to multiple supplier catalogs,
streamline purchasing workflows, and improve spending controls and tracking鈥攆rom
purchase order to payment鈥攔esulting in significant time savings and greater operational
efficiency. The Pilot Go Live date will occur on December 19, 2025 where a select group
will practice placing orders in the Yardi Train database. This will allow for feedback and the
identification of any issues prior to a full-scale rollout, ensuring a smoother transition to the
final launch. Extensive training will be provided free of charge, by Yardi to ensure staff are
fully equipped to utilize the new system effectively.Jump to an indexed page (66 of 66)
