A RESOLUTION OF THE
NEWPORT NEWS REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING CHARGE OFF OF TENANTS’
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Commissioners of the
Newport News Redevelopment and Housing Authority and attached hereto a listing of
recommended Charge Offs of Tenants’ Accounts Receivable for the five months ending
September 30, 2025 for Project Nos. VA 3-2 through 3-24; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Authority to pursue the collection of
said accounts:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the
Newport News Redevelopment and Housing Authority that the Executive Director be
authorized to grant approval for the total charge-offs of $80,402.09 of tenant accounts
