Having duly given public notice, the Board of Commissioners of the Newport News
Redevelopment and Housing Authority met at 227 27th Street, in the City of Newport
News, Virginia, at 8:32 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Pledge of Allegiance

Ms. Lysandra Shaw led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the
United States of America.
The meeting was called to order by the Chair, Mr. Holloman, and those present

Approval of Minutes
February 17, 2026
Introduction of Dr.
Helmuth Trieshmann
Commissioner Black moved that the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of
Commissioners held on February 17, 2026, be approved. The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Knight and passed with a majority vote. Commissioner Diggs and
Commissioner Trieshmann abstained as they both were not present at the February
17, 2026, meeting.
Mr. Holloman introduced Dr. Helmuth Trieshmann as the newest member of the
NNRHA Board of Commissioners.
