Installation of new Flock Safety cameras on new infrastructure. (9) 2x2 dirt cuts to install pole used to house cameras.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Activity within the right-of-way shall be in accordance with the current editions of the Hampton Roads Planning District
Commission (HRPDC) Regional Construction Standards, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Road and
Bridge Standards, Newport News Design Criteria Manual standards and the Newport News Special Provisions of the
HRPDC Regional Construction Standards.

Camera 21 Location: This location is currently within three (3) active City Projects, CNI - Jefferson / Ivy Avenues
Drainage Improvements, UPC #102969 Jefferson Avenue Phase II Utilities Relocation and Streetscape and HRSD - A &
B Force Main. As part of the CNI overall project, 14th Street will be extended from Jefferson Ave to Ivy Avenue,
therefore the pole may not be located within the area of the new street connection. Prior to installation, the contractor
shall contact the City (757.933.2311) and coordinate with each of the current project managers from the Dept. of
Engineering.
Camera 29 Location: This location is currently within the VDOT Construction area for the Denbigh Blvd Bridge
Replacement project (UPC 93077). Prior to installation, the contractor shall contact the VDOT Public Affairs Office
(757.956.3029) and coordinate with the current VDOT project manager.
