APA reviewed the Newport News Commissioner of the Revenue, Sheriff and Treasurer’s collection and remittance of Commonwealth revenues for the year ended June 30, 2025. Its procedures found no matters requiring the constitutional officers’ attention. This engagement was limited to state revenues; other financial activities of the locality are subject to separate CPA audits.
