APA reviewed financial transactions, internal controls and legal compliance for the Newport News Circuit Court Clerk’s office for April 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The report identifies a repeated court-cost billing finding affecting 16 of 56 sampled cases; the sample errors were not projected to all court transactions.
